Dear Club Member
The 2023 Nottingham Kayak Club AGM will take place on Tuesday the 24th of October at 7.30pm in the clubhouse.
New committee members will be elected at the AGM. This year there will be 3 Officer positions, Chairman, Treasurer & Secretary and a number of Committee positions to fill. A white board is now in place within the Clubhouse for Club members to submit candidates who wish to stand for a committee position. There will also be paper copies of the relevant part of the club constitution regarding the election rules (I’ll put them by the board this Sunday).
Please note, only Club Members can stand for a committee position, or act as a proposer or seconder.
The board with nominations will be removed from the clubhouse 14 days before the AGM on the 10th.
Further information will be given closer to the AGM regarding voting etc.
