NKC achieves 2nd place in the club championship event at Norwich

Nottingham Kayak Club achieved significant success at the National Kayak Marathon Championships held at Norwich.

Club members raced over 4, 8 or 12 miles dependent on their age category.

The club achieved 2nd place overall beaten only by the hosts Norwich Canoe Club. The club won the Ladies team trophy and the clubs juniors achieved 3rd place, a tremendous achievement. For most of the club juniors it was their first experience of paddling at a national event and a tremendous learning experience. The club has several national champions from the event.
